The VALON method of photocoagulation enables you to make a complete PRP procedure in six minutes. Our industry standard galvo-scanner technology delivers patterns of shots in rapid succession and a complete pattern is delivered to the retina even faster than a single spot with other technologies. This increased efficiency leads to significant savings in time and money. A fast, safe, single session full PRP treatment is also less of a burden to the patient and the physician in terms of patient pain and compliance.
You are in control
Unlike other lasers, the VALON multispot laser can be operated via the touch screen and with a Smart Wheel controller. These user interfaces provide complete control over all customary settings such as pulse duration, laser power, pattern selection and pattern size. All critical parameters can be controlled without removing your view of the patient’s fundus, vastly improving the user experience.
Slit Lamp Adapter (SLA)
Our slit lamp adapter currently fits slit lamp models from Haag-Streit®, CSO and Topcon with other manufacturer’s models on the way. The spot size selector is attached to the SLA, making it easy to reach and use without looking at it.
Touch screen control
The graphical user interface facilitates an intuitive way of choosing the correct parameters for each treatment. In addition to giving the user full access to choose pattern, pulse duration and power it also provides statistics and data about each treatment.
Laser Unit
The compact enclosure which holds the laser and other components fits even the smallest clinic. It is easy to move and fits under most tables while still being extremely stable.
Smart Wheel control
Our proprietary Smart Wheel controller makes operating the VALON laser faster than you ever thought possible. In addition to the touch screen control, you can use the Smart Wheel to control the most frequently used parameters such as laser power, pattern size and pattern rotation without removing your view from the patient’s fundus.
VERSATILITY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The VALON multispot laser is a versatile and customizable photocoagulator. It can even be attached to your existing slit lamp, saving valuable space. We currently support Haag-Streit models BM and BQ, CSO model SL 990, with many more on the way.
Depending on your needs, we can also produce customized laser patterns or localize the user interface into your native language.
